The Inter Solar Energy Meet (ISEM) conference was hosted by White Paper Summit on May 21, 2022 at the Lahore Expo Centre Auditorium. The conference featured an expansive line-up of stellar speakers, case studies, panel discussions, unique presentations providing access to a wealth of industry leading knowledge, sharing best practices and experiences, spotlighting trends, information exchange, insights, and outlooks with actionable takeaways.
Mr. Shah Jahan Mirza, Chief Executive Officer, Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB) attended the conference as key note speaker. CEO, AEDB presented the current status of utility scale Alternative & Renewable Energy (ARE) projects developed in the country along with the status of Distributed Energy development including net-metering, B2B and Off-grid projects. He talked about the future ARE capacity addition Plans as per the Indicative Generation Expansion Plan (IGCEP) of Pakistan, he also talked about the consideration of replacement of expansive thermal energy with large utility scale solar PV projects, the most economical and clean energy solution.
